Magic Resources

What type of magic do you want to learn?

General Magic

Don't know where to start or want the greatest understanding of magic?

General magic will give you a sample bite of everything! In my opinion, it’s the best starting point for beginners because it teaches sleight of hand as a whole and with many different props rather than specific techniques per genre.

Card Magic

Popularized in the late 1960s to early 1970s, Card Magic has been the go-to place to start for many beginners. No fancy props, just a deck of cards.

“Pick a card, any card” has made it into the modern vernacular. David Blaine melted my mind when I first saw him perform card magic on his ‘Street Magic’ special.

Coin Magic

Coin magic is the manipulating of coins to entertain audiences. Everyone is familiar with coins, their physical properties and limitations. This is why they’re the perfect prop to use for magic.

Impromptu Magic

Want to be able to do magic when your pockets are empty? Walk into any classroom, room or office, collect a few items and be able to entertain audiences for hours!

Sponge Ball Magic

Too many magicians are hesitant to grab these balls and run! I’ve never seen grown men as fooled and entertained like they were with a couple of red balls. You owe it to your audience to give them a try.

Mentalism

Mentalism is a performing art where artists appear to demonstrate highly developed mental, intuitive, or mindreading abilities.

How did they know I was thinking that?
